Thursday 12 September 2024 – Legacy Dinner
The 24th Annual Legacy Dinner will be held on Thursday 12 September 2024 at the Senior Staff Mess on RMC Campus. Tickets are $250 per person. Dress is black tie with medals. Friday 13 September 2024 – Obstacle Course and Coin Ceremony
The first-year Naval and Officer Cadets will conclude their orientation program with the challenging 13 Obstacle Course demonstrating the esprit-de-corps and teamwork that has been instilled in them throughout orientation. Upon completion of the Obstacle Course, a coin ceremony will take place in which the first-year Naval and Officer Cadets will receive their coin from pre-selected Cohort Class members of the Old Brigade. Saturday 14 September 2024 – Badging Parade
The enthusiasm and resolve demonstrated by our Naval and Officer Cadets completing the Obstacle Course will be recognized during the Badging Parade. The presentation of RMC cap badges to every first-year Naval and Officer Cadets on parade square by members of the Old Brigade, College Staff and invited dignitaries will signify the admittance of the Class of 2028 into the Cadet Wing of RMC.
Saturday 14 September 2024 – Memorial Arch Parade
Classes are asked to form up in front of Panet House where select Class Markers will be identified. Peter Avis, OB Adjutant, will liaise with Class leaders prior to Reunion Weekend to discuss how Classes will march onto Parade Square and form up and make our way to the Memorial Arch for a formal ceremony
Saturday 14 September 2024 – Alumni BBQ and Ex-Cadet Sports
An Alumni BBQ will be held at the inner field (across from the SSM) and include a free BBQ, Beverage Tent, Alumni Sports Challenge, and your chance to meet with current and former Cadets, and College Staff. More details to follow on this event.
Saturday 14 September 2024 – Wall of Honour Ceremony
This event recognizes former Cadets and other distinguished individuals associated with the Canadian Military Colleges for outstanding achievements and contributions to Canada and the world. A list of the 2024 inductee’s will be available on the RMC Alumni Association website in the coming months.
Saturday 14 September 2024 – Old Brigade Dinner
The dinner this year will be held at the DoubleTree by Hilton Kingston Inn (the Old Ambassador Inn on Princess Street), 6pm for 7pm. It’s a time to dress up if you like – black tie and medals for Old Brigade and Alumni, with spouses and partners invited to dress accordingly – but we recognize how difficult it is to carry that kit for long distances, so college blazer or dark suit with Old Brigade tie and medals are fully acceptable and welcome alternatives.
This year, the ticket price will be $150 per person and a charitable tax receipt provided for a portion of that price. Members of this year’s 5-Year Cohort the classes of 1954, 59, 64, 69, 74 and 79 may purchase tickets starting Monday 18 March 2024. General sales to all other classes will begin on Monday 25 March 2024. Fin de semaine des retrouvailles – RMC Saint-Jean 23-24 Août 2024
Chaque année, le Chapitre Fort Saint-Jean organise la Fin de semaine des retrouvailles. Une série d’activités sur deux jours consécutifs favorise la réunion des Ancien(ne)s du Collège militaire royal de Saint-Jean : la course à obstacles, l’heure de bonne entente, la parade et le souper-dansant.
Un fait marquant est l’intronisation d’une nouvelle classe dans la Vieille Brigade.
Bref, les retrouvailles sont l’occasion de revivre notre alma mater, de se remémorer d’excellents souvenirs et d’aller à la rencontre de la nouvelle génération d’élèves-officiers.
